First of all, thank you for being a member of A Poem Is A Place. This space does not exist without you.

Now, onto these poetry perks—here are the special benefits for my paid subscribers:

  1. Join my Close Friends story on Instagram where I post my works-in-progress and you get to vote on edits, join the conversation, and see new work before anyone else.

  2. Get line-edit-feedback on one of your poems monthly. I say “line-edit-feedback” because that’s what it is—I make comments/suggestions on everything, from line breaks to commas to titles to the overall power of the piece.

  3. Attend my monthly Roundtable workshop: every last week of the month, paid subscribers are invited to join a free roundtable workshop where we workshop 4 poems from 4 subscribers.

  4. Discounts: When I host a virtual workshop (like this one from early May) my paid Substack subscribers get first-dibs and a discount for the ticket or the recording of the workshop. And if they need feedback on more than 1 poem, they get a discount to use here on my website (this is especially useful for people wanting feedback on a contest or lit mag submission).

  5. (and of course): Substack posts: never hit a paywall here on Substack, never miss essays, prompts, and new poems.

Not bad for $5 a month.

Finally—here are all the links, dates, and times you need to USE these perks.
