It’s June! And this isn’t an essay or a poem. It’s reminders, announcements, and feedback + workshop invitations for paid subscribers.

  • Don’t miss this interview I did with Bicoastal Review. There’s even a list of shows and books that influenced me in writing Good Girl and Other Yearnings. AND a Good Girl playlist.

  • The next subscriber workshop will be Sunday June 29th 2pm EST to 3:30 pm. The first 30 minutes will be a recorded craft talk with editing prompts. For June, we’re gonna talk about “how to know just enough grammar to write fire poems and still be fun at parties”. Then, we’ll do the roundtable workshop (not recorded) where we workshop 4 poems from 4 paid subscribers. You can purchase the craft talk recording for $20 if you’re not a paid Subscriber (or you can become a paid subscriber and attend for free /or get the recording for free).

  • It’s June! It’s time for my paid subscribers to share 1 piece with me for detailed feedback. Remember that you can submit this form any time in June.

  • Links for the June 29th workshop and for the monthly feedback are below.

  • Oh and remember that my paid subscribers are invited to join my Close Friends story on Instagram (if Instagram is your thing) where I share new poems of mine and we vote on edits. We are currently having a fascinating debate over a poem title for a tiny poem about the demon in my bathroom mirror.
